Why newborn tracking is different
In the first weeks the useful question is rarely “did we follow the plan?” — it is “when was the last feed, how long did the last nap last, and how many wet diapers today?” EasyPeasyBaby’s home screen answers those three at a glance: last feed, last sleep, and last diaper sit at the top, with a live timer card when a feed or nap is in progress.
Everything is one tap because you are usually holding the baby. Bottle, Left breast, Pee, Sleep — each is a single press, and you can end a timer from the same tile.
Age-aware reminders instead of a fixed timetable
Newborn reminders in EasyPeasyBaby are derived from your baby’s birth date and what you last logged, not from a schedule you set up in advance. After a diaper is logged the app plans the next check — about every two hours under three months, stretching out as the baby grows. After a nap ends, a home-screen banner and optional notifications tell you when the age-based wake window is close and when it has been reached.
- Nap-soon and nap-time alerts from age and last sleep
- Diaper-check reminder spaced by age
- Switch-sides nudge during long breastfeeds
- All reminders are local notifications you can switch off in Profile
- General guidance only — not medical advice
Log from the lock screen
The home screen widget (iOS and Android) logs a bottle, starts or ends sleep, or records a wet diaper without opening the app. It syncs with the app in the background, so the widget tap shows up in your timeline and on your partner’s phone.
The week, when you are ready to look
The Reports tab totals feeds, sleep hours, and diapers for the last seven days with a bar per day. Growth measurements from pediatric visits go under Health, where weight, height, and head circumference are charted over time, alongside a vaccine checklist for the country schedule you choose (France, US, or WHO).
Two tired parents, one timeline
Family Premium lets you invite a co-parent or nanny with a secure link. Both phones show the same newborn timeline in real time, with a handoff note for the shift change. New accounts get a 14-day trial; core tracking stays free forever.
Frequently asked questions
When should I start using a newborn tracker?
Any time — from the first day home or a month in. Create the baby profile with the birth date and the app immediately uses it for age-based reminders.
Does it work at night without waking me up more?
Night mode (Profile → Appearance) uses muted colors for 3 a.m. check-ins, and every reminder can be turned off individually.
Can a grandparent see the log without changing it?
Yes — invite them as a Viewer. Viewers see the timeline but cannot log.
Does it work offline?
Yes. Logs are queued on the device and sync once you are back online.
EasyPeasyBaby is a care log for parents, not a medical device. Wake windows, reminder intervals, and reports are general conveniences based on what you log — not medical advice. Talk to your pediatrician about your baby’s feeding, sleep, and growth.
